Want to let your fans know exactly how and where you got that shot? Enable camera info in your gallery settings so others can learn from your masterful photo techniques.
Go to your Site, browse to one of your galleries, then select the "Settings" button in the section bar.
Alternatively, you can go to Organize, select a gallery, and click on the "Settings" button.
In the gallery settings menu, click on the Appearance tab and toggle “Show Camera Info” to ON.
This will add an information icon in Lightbox view that your visitors can click to learn more about what it took for you to capture them.
If you're using the default SmugMug gallery style or Journal style, this information icon will appear under each photo on the right-hand side.
For the multiple-image gallery styles, like our Collage styles, visitors will first need to click on the photo they’re interested in to view it in the Lightbox. Then they’ll see the photo details icon in the left-hand sidebar.
Depending on how much information your camera captures and how much you add to your metadata during photo processing, the information panel can show your visitors copyright information, camera type, focal length, and more in the EXIF tab.
If you’d prefer your visitors not learn all your photographic secrets, just go back into your Gallery Settings menu’s Appearance tab and toggle "Show Camera Info" to OFF.
