You can cancel your SmugMug subscription by logging in from your computer and using this link. If you originally signed up through our iOS app, you'll need to log in to your Apple account to cancel your subscription. We'll be sad to see you go, so feel free to let us know what we could have done better for you!
Cancel your SmugMug subscription.
If you prefer to cancel directly from your Site Settings, you can find the option under Site > Manage Subscription and Add-Ons > Cancel My Subscription > Proceed.
You will be advised that canceling the account means it will close at the end of your subscription term, whether monthly or annual. From here you may choose Yes, Close My Account.
Account Cancellation Confirmation
Your screen will display confirmation of your account cancellation and the closure date. Your Dashboard will also show a note with your account's final closure date.
Need to change your mind? Contact our Support Heroes immediately to reopen your account. Account closures are immediate and per our Privacy Policy your site images only have a short time to recover.
Want to close sooner? You can restrict site access and close your account before your subscription ends. Contact our Support Heroes for immediate closure assistance.

Resume Subscription.
If you change your mind before your account closure takes effect, you have the option to resubscribe at your current account level. Go to Site > Subscription > Manage Subscription and Add-Ons > Resume Subscription.
You will see a page that shows your current plan, and that of any Source subscription, when the next renewal(s) will be, and the amount of the SmugMug and Source subscription renewal costs. The subscription will resume with the same payment method that is on file. Make sure to check the two terms items to allow for the Renew Subscription option to proceed.
You will now see a "Welcome Back" message advising that your subscription has been successfully resumed. If you encounter any issue with resuming the account subscription, reach out to the Support Heroes for assistance.
Note: If the account needs to have an update of the payment method you may do so once the account is resumed by going to Site > Subscription > Current Payment Method.
Cancel SmugMug Source.
Canceling your SmugMug Source add-on can be done any time. You can continue to leave your SmugMug account open if you're looking to cancel only the Source add-on. All the details about canceling your SmugMug Source add-on are available in this article.
