Collaborators Logins is an add-on subscription available on all SmugMug subscription levels that allows you to invite trusted people, second shooters, editors, studio managers, or assistants, to help run your business on SmugMug. The add-on cost is $8 per seat + any applicable taxes. You must have an existing SmugMug subscription to add a collaborator to your SmugMug account. Follow the steps below to add a Collaborator to your subscription.
Note: Pro accounts include two seats with their subscription. Additional paid seats may be added if so desired.
From a single page in your Site Settings, you can send invitations, see who currently has access, and remove collaborators when a project is complete.
Subscribe to Collaborator Logins.
- Make sure you have an active SmugMug account.
- Go to Site Settings > Site > Subscription > Manage Subscription and Add-Ons
- Click the Learn More button.

Select Add To Plan. You can use your current credit card on file or select a different payment option for the Collaborators Add-On monthly renewal.
Manage Collaborator Logins Billing.
Important: The Collaborator Logins feature is an Add-on service that is billed separately from your main SmugMug subscription. You'll have separate bills from SmugMug - one for the plan subscription, (paid monthly or yearly depending on your choice), and one for Collaborator Logins, (paid monthly based on how many Collaborator seats you have chosen.)
Collaborator Logins is billed monthly at $8 per seat plus any applicable taxes. The monthly fee is the subscription cost for this feature. You will be billed based on the number of Collaborator seats at the start of the billing cycle.
- Pro subscriptions receive two seats at no charge with their subscription.
- Pro subscribers add your two seats in the Manage Collaborators page, only additional seats beyond your 2 will you use the Add To Plan subscription.
- Additional seats $8 per month
- All other account levels are $8 per month per seat
Choose the number of Collaborators in the drop-down, then Add To Plan. Select your payment method, current billing used on the SmugMug subscription, or new payment method and fill out the information.
Agree to the Subscription terms, and choose the Subscribe button.
Cancel Collaborator Logins.
- Visit Site Settings > Site > Subscription > Manage Subscription and Add-Ons > Manage Collaborators.
- Click Remove Add-On
- Enter your email address and click on Cancel and Remove All Collaborators.
- When you cancel you still have access to your collaborators seat until the end of that monthly billing cycle.

- Go to the Manage Subscription page
- Select Resume Add-On Subscription
- Review Order
- Accept Terms of Service
- Select Resume Subscription

What If I need to update my credit card?
You can easily update your credit card information:
- Go to Site Settings > Account > Subscription > Manage Subscription > Add-Ons.
- Select Change Payment Method.
- Click Update and enter your new credit or debit card details.
